How we handle your data on this page · last updated

1. Who is responsible

The controller for data processing on this website is:

Riverland International GmbH
Hangstraße 11, 21075 Hamburg, Germany
Email: office@riverland-int.com · Phone: +49 (0)1575 111 0598

“Line Lime” is a product of Riverland International GmbH. See our Impressum for full company details.

2. Hosting

This site is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA, USA). When you visit, your browser transmits technical data (e.g. IP address, browser type, time of access) that the host may process in server logs to deliver the site securely. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, functioning website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3. What we collect, and why

Reserving a founding spot (your email)

When you reserve a founding spot, we collect your email address so we can notify you about early access and manage the founding list. Legal basis: your consent and steps taken at your request prior to a contract (Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR). This is stored in our database at Supabase (Supabase, Inc.), in an EU region (Frankfurt, Germany).

Payment details

To reserve, a payment method is placed on file via Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout and are processed and stored by Stripe — we never see or store your full card data. Provider: Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Ireland) and Stripe, Inc. (USA). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. See Stripe's privacy policy.

Optional questions

If you choose to answer our few optional questions (e.g. which platforms you post on), those answers are sent via Formspree (Formspree, Inc., USA) so we can build the right product. Providing them is voluntary. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Web fonts

Fonts are self-hosted on our own server — they are not loaded from Google or any third party, so no font-related data is sent to external providers.

4. Local storage (no tracking)

We store small technical flags in your browser (local/session storage) to remember whether you've already interacted, so we don't repeat the same prompt. These are strictly functional. We currently use no advertising or analytics tracking cookies.

6. Transfers outside the EU

Some processors are based in, or transfer data to, the USA. Such transfers are safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where applicable.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your reservation data for as long as needed to run the founding program and, if it launches, your membership. If you cancel or ask us to, we delete your data unless we're legally required to retain it (e.g. tax records).

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to: access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and to object to processing (Art. 21). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with future effect.

To exercise any of these, email office@riverland-int.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — for us, the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as the product develops. The current version always applies, with the “last updated” date shown above.
